The time has come in our family’s life, where it’s time to find our next RV. The search can be tedious and tiring. So many RVs out there. But, how do find an RV right for your family? Well, we are on that search right now. While this
What Type of RV?
We’ve done a lot of work and renovation on our current trailer. While we love the work that we did. The trailer is tight. And it’s never been the rig we ultimately wanted. But what type of RV do we want? That answer has changed a few times over the past year or so. For most of our RV adventure we thought we wanted a 5th wheel. Sometimes it’s been a toy hauler, other times it’s been a bunkhouse. Our last 5th wheel plan was a front living. Now we’ve changed gears and have decided on a class A.
Class A For The Win
A class A will be more comfortable while traveling, which is a big win in the family’s eyes. The kids, which are adults now, get more and more cramped riding in the back seat of the truck. Angelica also needs more space to make it easier for her to work while on the road. These two things make finding a class A RV the most practical.
Our List
Now there is a few things that we are looking for in this class A. One of the biggest things is a double door fridge. We have been way too cramped trying to fit our food in our little fridge. So, we are ready for a bigger one.
Another must have on our list is an area to build some bunks. With Tidbit and Crush still living with us we need a dedicated place for them to sleep. It can be hard to find a class A RV that is equipped. Most of the ones we have looked at will have to have to dinette removed for bunks.
One other thing we are looking for in our next RV is nice counter space. With living in our RV fulltime we do a good bit of cooking. Therefore, counter space is important.
Next is desk space. We need a place to make a desk for Angelica’s computer. She has 27” computer plus another 22” monitor that will need a home.
The last big request is washer/dryer hookup. If not a washer/dryer. It something we would like to have. But it’s not super important. With 4 people living together, those washer/dryer combos would have to be run every day to keep up with us.
The Hunt Begins
Well, these are our requests and must-haves in a class A. We hope that we can find an RV that will suit us. And that is also in our price range. I’m practically living an RV Trader in this hunt. We’ll let you know how it turns out.
